Position Details
Draft, negotiate and finalize the Distributors /Partner-Suppliers Contracts
-Draft, review and negotiate the contracts and structuring of major business agreements in conjunction with the senior management of the various business units. Identify the risks in any contract and discuss these with internal business teams
-Ensure closure of contracts including sign off
Manage and track contractual compliance
- Set a process in place for managing contracts and maintain complete contract files/audit trail in central repository
- Set a process for monitoring compliance of the contracts
- Participate actively in the Risk Management Process by providing a summary of contract compliance issues to Contract Management
- Preparing synopsis of contractual requirements
Contracts Management in central repository
- Creation and management of contract databases (MIS)
- Hold training and interactive sessions with the operations/business teams to spread awareness of contractual compliance
Handling commercial conveyancing for company - leases, licenses and property acquisition as required; Litigation management
Managing the conduct of litigation and instruction of and liaison with external solicitors on cases filed by or against the company.
Maintaining a legal MIS of all the cases filed by or against the company.
Compliances of statutory/Regulatory / local laws
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, statutory and regulatory compliances
